9.5 days and 64,000+ lbs

These people have been haunting us since about the time I started working at Peasley. (2003) They moved in shortly after I started working there with their 60,000 lbs of stuff. It stayed in storage for 4 years, and 4 building contractors later, until they finally got their house built. It took about 2 weeks to get everything moved in and unpacked. Shortly there after only to start coming in and asking about different scenarios to get moved back to New York, apparently there are no descent places to go shopping around here. Finally they called and got serious about moving, kind of, Randy did up an estimate, and and everything planned out down to the yellow happy face stickers!! They called up June 29th and ask if we could have them moved out by the end of the week. Yes one of the busiest weeks of the year. Well 9.5 days later we have them all pack up, back in the warehouse, and car in storage, awaiting for the call to ship out the first wave. Funny, I say funny because if I didn't laugh it would drive me insane.... July 2nd She calls in and asks "Do working people get the day off tomorrow? and Today she was waiting for her husband to get to Peasley, and she called him for the 3rd time asking where he was in 15 min. being all impatient, "It's (the car) sitting out in the sun!" Oh and the amazing only one person walked off the job, only to be told get back to work if you want to work here any more. It has been a blast!!

Fat Me and Fat Dog

I know I have said this before, but now I am putting it in writing. The weight has to come off! Both of us!!

Ok our luck with our pets hasn't been so good these past few weeks. The last week of June when Trevor and the kids were all gone, I took the garbage out, yes I can do manual labor. The cats both went into the garage. When I got home from work that evening I went to feed the dogs, both cats came running into the house. They had been locked in the very hot garage all day with out water. Well the last few days I have noticed Nike missing. I kept asking the kids and Trevor if they had seen the cat. I guess they were just thinking I was over reacting because Bear had just run off. Well today I finally convinced them that Nike is missing on the way to church. When we got home today, Braden took Moe out to play with the ball and heard a cat mewing under the house. Yep Nike was under the house. The only thing we can think of was Wednesday when the maintenance guy came over (he has been replacing the fence) he must have gone under the house to check the filter on the furnace, and didn't realize the cat that followed him under the house. So once again our 3 dogs, and 2 cats are all accounted for and safe and sound. And when the fence gets finished, Bear will not be able to get out at all!!!

Lima what?

So I went and did some shopping, which I hate to do. I kind of rush through it. Well I needed to get some frozen peas, and some how ended up with these. When I got home Trevor was helping put the food away and saw them. He ask " are you trying to kill us?" I ask what did I do now, and he said what are these, and again I said "Peas". After doing a double take I realized I grabbed the wrong thing. So now the big question is What can I do with Lima beans!

I made them stop!!!

Ok so I can't make the lies stop, but I don't have to listen to them any more. This last week I started listening to music on the computer. I have since got an IPod shuffle. This is amazing. I can focus and get my work done, and I am not getting upset because of all the lies. It is again amazing.

Party at our house

Bear is home today!!! This is a funny funny story. Monday when I went to the pound I saw him there, and I really did think it was him, but they told be the dog was neutered, and he had a really bad hair cut.

I went back Wednesday, and walked away, from Bears eyes, begging me to take him home, but again was told he was neutered, and no one said any different. (I cried all the way back to work) Went home made more flyer, and went to Kinko's and made a bunch of copies. Dropped copies off and every place I could think of, that was still open. Then this morning I went out a hung more flyers, drove up and down Broadway 2 time looking for Broadway Vet, then went to pickup Adrienne up from the Dentist (another story for another time). While I was waiting there for the dentist, I was telling Adrienne about my search for Broadway Vet. Another person in the room heard me and said "oh they moved, and they aren't on Broadway anymore. By then I needed to get Adrienne home and back to work, on the way dropping off 2 more flyers.

So I am at work for about 1 hour when I get a call from the pound, saying "I really think we have your dog here. He was brought in Sunday, and he was found in your area, and he meets your description." Again I said but that dog has been neutered, in reply no he hasn't! I totally freaked I took off, paid 210 dollars and brought bear home.

Yes we had a welcome home party for him tonight. Dogie biscuits, rawhide sticks, and hot dogs!
We are supper happy, and now just need to go collect all our flyers, and have a flyer burning party. There is always a reason to have a party right!!!

Today they called again. They said I think we really do have your dog

Take me out to the ball game!

So tonight I was given some tickets to go to the Boise Hawks baseball game. I almost turned them down, because I wanted to walk around again, put up more flyer's, and try to find Bear:( But I accepted the tickets, and took Braden to the game. We were late because we were almost there, and I realized I left the tickets on the table, so we turned around and came back, so we were late to the game. The Hawks lost real bad, but we still had fun.

Bear Please Come Home!!

I went to the Idaho Humane Society today looking for Bear. I found different pom, that looked a lot like Bear, but he wasn't Bear. He looked at me with those eyes of "save me please" but I know it wasn't Bear so I didn't take him. We put up posters tonight around the neighborhood. I hope the fox that lives down by the canal didn't get him.

MAKE IT STOP!!!!

SO Where are the red flasing lights when you need them!!! Make the lies stop!!!! Please make the lies go away!!! Please make it stop!!!

CRAZY TRAIN!!!!!

So there is really no picture here. I have been working in very crazy work environment!! We have a GM who when talking you know is lying, to when as what has made you so upset today and Sam replies your breathing was not that far from the truth, Even though it was said with sarcasm, and my reply was me mad no, not me I not upset!! Ok so I guess I lied a bit there, but it was all for the best. I went home for lunch and honestly almost did not come back. When I got back to work Cheryl the office manager said "Oh good you came back!"

So this morning my day off, I get a call because one of our drivers is having a mental breakdown, (a lying GM can do this to you),but there are other issues, and we have another driver on the way to finish his trip, and are flying another one in to drive his truck back, and flying the other driver home. So if you aren't confused, driver B went to take driver A's truck and it broke down. So now me, Sam and Bonnie all go in, and I thought it only appropriate we listen to Crazy Train by Ozzy to help us all chilax!!!

The truck is fixed, customers are all still happy, (a little confused) but hopefully taken care of.

I put in another 3.5 hours of overtime, billing the crazy customers, who imagine this, pay our salary's!! Yes we have a lovely GM who believe it is us first then the customer, that crazy customer who pays our salaries!!!

Come Monday the 4th will be behind us, I hope we all can enjoy the holiday, and remember what we are truly celebrating. And things should be a little better at work. It always seems crazy right before the 4th, and right before Thanks Giving. If people are moving at that time, they want to have it done before the holiday, and it only seems to happen on these two holidays.

Then I get a call from Oliver saying he doesn't want to come home because they are having a 4th of July party up there, dang I wanted him to come home.

I will try to start again this weekend on remembering the picture of the day, and get refocused on what this crazy life is really about, and maybe even start up that crazy thing called exercise!!
