3.2 miles

So last night I finally pulled up a map of are area (we have only been here 6 months)to put together a walking trail. (when we lived in Kuna I tried to take a short cut through this subdivision and had a hard time getting out, there are a lot of dead ends)Anyway I got a rout together and it was 3.2 miles. So yes this will be good to get me ready for the 5K in Malta in a week and a half. I also thought it would help Edward get used to his stroller. Well he went to sleep right away, and slept the whole time. I was really cute how he turned him self in the seat.

Trevor and I made it, but the dogs did not, well just Rosie, and since Adrienne came to pick her up, Moe had to go to. I am a little sore, and tired, but I am going to do it everyday until we have to leave for Raft River to Olivia's Baptism!!!
I needed to go to the store, we were out of bread, milk, eggs, hot cereal, and yogurt. We had to go. So I waited until I fed Edward, and then we left, hoping for the best, but prepared for the worst. Edward did really well he didn't start crying until we were almost to Winco, and I got him out and put him in the tummy pack facing out, and he loved it. He kept grabbing my thumbs as I was pushing the cart. Got done with Winco, and everything was going good. We made it to Fredies, and he was just falling to sleep in the car seat. Do I leave him in and put the car seat in the cart, or take him out and put him in the tummy pack. Well I opted of the tummy pack, but I think the out come would have been the same either way. I got the cart and was headed in, got to the bread, and he just starts screaming. So what to do leave, or just get it done. Well I decided to just get it done!! He was screaming the whole time, but I just rushed in to get it done there were a few items that had in-store coupons for that was a great price. I get him in his car seat long enough to unload the cart, then I sit there with the car running and the AC (green moment) and feed him. Then he was good for the 2 mile trip home, and for me to get the car unloaded. I needed to sit down and finish feeding him again , and then got half the stuff put away, only to have to sit down with him again to feed him again. I finally got the groceries put away, only to find there is something leaking downstairs. So now that he is sleeping in the swing I will run down to find out where the water is coming from, and let the dogs. (no it is not the dogs)
I don't know how you people in Juniper do it!!! Because yes I forgot the yogurt!!!

Juniper Gulch.....Not your everyday walk in the woods!!

So one might wonder how I would get myself into something like this. Well it all started last Sunday when Trevor ask me if I would go on a hike with him and the boys and some people from our old ward. Well I said sure, as long as it didn't go strait up.
OH no problem an easy hike said Bob, you may have to scamper up in a few places but it is an easy hike. So of course we had to bring Edward.
I had him in the back pack, but brought the tummy pack just in case it didn't like it....and he didn't and spent the hike in the tummy pack (well most of the hike)

It was quite enjoyable a lot of really cool rocks, and Indian paint brush. That was cool I haven't seen that in quite awhile.
Then the trail took a drastic turn.....Straight up.....really I had to start climbing rocks.
At one point we took Edward out of the pack and passed him up the rock so I would be able to climb up. (it is hard to rock climb with a baby in front of you)
Oh and this was cool....time to change the diaper and rest.....Oh ya I only had one diaper! The boys climbed around on the rock and was having fun for a bit.
This is a new take on "Cavemen"

And of course we had to get the "Juniper Salute" in

Hey look I think Braden might be in trouble!!!

Yep now that is a Juniper Salute!!!! Braden was climbing around and to be honest is lucky to be alive. As he was climbing a rather big rock came loose, and he fell, and the rock (bigger than his head) fell on his head, and then rolled across his arm and chest (yes his chest and hip kinda look like this also)
We tied a burpy around it and he kept on!!!

There were some pretty cool rocks It was truly amazing, and well worth the climb. If anyone wanted come come this way for a little hike I would do it again (maybe not with Edward)

Yup climbed up that rock too! While I sat up there and ate lunch, and fed Edward, I named a few rocks......

This "Braden rock" see the face with the rock on the head!!! It is a good thing Branden is OK other wise this wouldn't be funny.

The little rock sticking up looks like a pig head so I named ti Pumba Rock

These two, the front one is surprise rock, and the back one is frog rock

If you look really close down by the bush you can see some people....That is Me and the Jacoobsmeyers. We along with Trevor & Braden took the easy trail down. Yes we could have hiked up on the trail, and not had to climb any rocks. But again it was worth it....I think.
The boys and Bob came over the top climbing through the rocks, and had a blast!!! That rock looks pretty cool (Bob's Favorite).

Oliver king of the hill. When we got back down I was super tired.....and very hungry!!! I think I just ran my 5K and I only fell once!!
